Anthony is an amazing photographer! Both myself and my fiance are not the most confident or comfortable in front of the camera but he was able to get so many beautiful shots. He kept using laughing and was very detail oriented at the same time. Anthony even gave us a SD card at the end of the shoot so we could send out the pictures to friends and family right away which was a huge plus! Anthony took pictures of our family of 8. We were very happy with how quick he was and how great the pictures turned out! In 45-minutes he was able to capture everything we wanted - the family group, couple, kids together and individual shots. He quickly helped arrange the poses and paid attention to the little details like hair. When we finished, our 15-year-old (who was the unhappiest about having to get photos taken) said it was the quickest 45 minutes of his life! I’m very happy we did this. I set up a multi-generational photoshoot with Anthony before our trip to Ko Olina on Oahu. He was extremely responsive as we set up a date and time, and Secret Beach ended up being the absolute perfect location for our family. He was ready and waiting for us at the start time, and worked quickly and efficiently to capture so many different groupings of people. I was impressed with how hard he worked to get the little kids smiling and looking at the camera. Being able to walk away with an SD card of over 225 quality images for the price was amazing, and it was fun coming home to pick out the ones to be edited professionally by him. We never once had to stress about hoping to find someone to hand out phone to in order to get a group pictures, and this spot - with the lush trees, sand, and waves - looked like the quintessential Hawaii trip. Anthony was everything and more I could have ever wanted for a photographer!! He is a genuinely nice guy who takes the time to help you fix your clothes, hair, position etc. to make sure your photos come out the very best they can!! I hired Anthony because it was time to update my professional headshot. Anthony is one of the rare individuals who communicates quickly and clearly, he replies to emails within hours. When I was researching local photographers, his website was the most helpful one I found; it provides his rates, what to expect, helpful tips, and it was very easy to find what I was looking for. His rate is very affordable for what I planned to use it for, yet the end product looks like I paid five times the price for it! On the day of the photo shoot Anthony arrived at my house early, he was very professional and helped me feel at ease during the shoot. He set up and took down his equipment himself and took over 20 photos. He instructed me to turn this way, try this way, adjusted equipment and lighting, etc. to get the best photos possible. At the end of the shoot, I found at least five photos that I liked most and chose the one I liked best. From there, Anthony provided a gorgeous fully edited final photo - the same day! I used Anthony for a surprise proposal on Waimanalo Beach at sunrise. He gave detailed instructions and we had multiple phone calls beforehand with tips and ideas on how to make it perfect. We arrived and he was exactly where he said he would be, was very discreet acting as if he was taking photos of sunrise, and right at sunrise we captured the perfect moment. Waimanalo is on the windward side and he was very professional and came up with ideas to take better photos even with my fiancé’s hair blowing everywhere. At the end we received the SD cards, sent him back the photos we wanted touched up two days later, and within two more days we had them back. We couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. We hired Anthony to photograph our daughter's senior pictures based on a friend's (and previous customer) recommendation. After contacting him through his website, Anthony responded quickly to all my emails and was thorough in his answers to our questions. As it got closer to the day of our session and the weather forecast was questionable, he was flexible in changing the time so as to avoid rain. When we met Anthony he was professional, friendly and accommodating. His photo ideas were creative and he was also open to all of my suggestions. In searching for a photographer on-line for our family vacation to HI, Anthony Calleja Photography popped up, as well as several others. Reviewing his website told me all I needed to know. I would definitely recommend Anthony Calleja Photography to anyone who wants beautiful, affordable photos! Anthony was great to work with - he replied to all my emails and calls promptly, booked at short notice and had our edited photos back to us really quick. We got engaged on our vacation to Oahu and wanted photos done while we were there - I never thought I would be able to get such a talented photographer with such short notice at such a good price. Another great thing is the amount of information Anthony has on his website, it is extremely helpful when deciding what you want and his website is also really easy to navigate! We really appreciated all the advice he provided during the shoot on our poses as the pictures turned out perfect! It was also really great to be able to take home an SD card right after our shoot with all the photos on it - it allowed us to pick the ones we loved the most for editing and also allows us to have all the photos for our use. Great service, Great photos, & Great value. Anthony was quick to respond to all my email questions before the shoot. He arrived early for the shoot and quickly went to work. There was 13 in our group. Anthony kept everything moving and took many photos. At the end we received "ALL" of the photos on a thumb drive. I have since made 8x10 prints and they look great.
